Modern Tables Made Out of Plywood from Lazerian
Lazerian, a Manchester-based design firm, has introduced a distinctive collection of modern tables made of unique materials. This new modern table collection is the product of a two-year experimentation with plywood by two designers, Richard Sweeney and Liam Hopkins. They started this plywood table idea by creating a series of models using plywood and explored various connecting methods, including bolting and self-interlocking mechanisms. These modern tables models were enhanced further using a CNC (computer numerically controlled) router in order to come up with structural forms that are capable of supporting weight.

The tables feature glass tops while the legs are made of thin pieces of plywood which were ut out using a router controlled by a computer, and joined using bolts and wing-nuts.
