The Funky Green Fridge identifies all of the benefits that Dow resins and technology can bring to make the most environmentally friendly fridge possible. From the recycling of liners to energy efficient insulation to saving on electricity bills through illumination design, this fridge comes in a funky colour and could be the environment’s best friend.

The Family Fridge is a parent’s dream. Safety, communication and ergonomics are all incorporated into the design. Parents can monitor their children and their eating habits, family members can communicate through the LCD player and food is made easy to reach due to the revolving shelves. Dow’s special resins with added masterbatch will be loved by mother’s everywhere since it makes the shelves hygienic and easy to clean.

The Smart Interactive Fridge highlights technology at its best, employing electronic controls and sensors to help all owners with the weekly shopping. A see-through panel allows you to see into the fridge without the need to open the door. The fridge can now come in a range of colours and one day it might even be possible to have a colour-changing fridge based on light-emitting diode technology!

The Tree House Fridge, a concept design created by Yanko Design, has separate “branches” for storing meat, cheese, produce and other categories.Choose a particular compartment, and the item you want practically flies into your hand.

Yanko explains: “It is a cool fridge design, combining with a tree branch shape storage system and several single fridges, which tried to bring the memory of tree house in our childhood to the kitchen in daily life. One fridge has holes and pattern on the door as a fruit shelf. People can pick up a fruit from a tree. Another is like a bird house. Doors can slide away when a hand is placed in front of it. It’s funny how one can draw out an egg from a bird’s nest. There is also a special device designed at the foot of the door, when people step on it, a wheel with small motor will slide the door open.”
