It is no longer fog that rolls down the hill these days, but smog. Cars spill noxious fumes out their tailpipes and factories send plumes of smoke into the air. Especially for people living in highly urbanized and populated area, air pollution is an everyday problem considering the health risks it pose to everyone. In fact, it has come to the point where holding your breath is the only solution. So here is an air cleaner technology for that you can use for your city homes to at least clean or purify the air around your house.

To at least minimize the amount of pollutants in the air that we breath, a Korean industrial designer Seung Jun Jeong Seung has designed an artificial tree that acts just like the real one, by cleaning the air in its vicinity. The technology called Air Tree has an electronic fan that sucks in ambient air and pumps it through the HEPA filters to remove all particulates present in the air. The air then comes out from the top of the tower, which also carries an LED lamp to illuminate the seating area incorporated in the Air Tree. The system can be mounted on streets or in a garden to clean ambient air.

Although it is being marketed for use in public areas, you can definitely bring one to your home. This would surely look good in your backyard garden or in any open space you have especially if paired with a modern look since it almost look like a sculpture.
