From Canadian glass blowing studio Tsunami Glassworks, Hypervoxel is a free blown glass sculptural chandelier available in custom colors and sizes. The organic forms mimic weightless liquid floating in space. Versatile in configuration the Hypervoxel shows well in small or large groupings.

Chandelier Lighting 02-The What Watt? Chandelier by Tim Fishlock
From London based designer Tim Fishlock, What Watt? is a memorial to and a celebration of the humble incandescent lightbulb. It’s a spherical chandelier, 1010mm in diameter made up of 1243 suspended bulbs of various shape and size, illuminated by a single low-energy light source. By 2011, all forms of incandescent light bulb will have been phased out in favour of greener alternatives. What Watt? marks the passing of a beautiful design that has remained relatively unchanged since its invention 130 years ago.

Chandelier Lighting 03-The Zabriskie Point Suspension Lamp by Denis Santachiara
Denis Santachiara has designed the Zabriskie Point suspension lamp for Italian lighting manufacturer de Majo Illuminazione. Zabriskie Point is a large egg-shaped lamp with exploding glass fragments and points of light that seem to emphasize the explosion.

Chandelier Lighting 04-Mirrored Pendant Chandelier by Alison Berger
From Los Angeles-based glass artist Alison Berger is a new light fixture called Mirrored Pendant Chandelier.Inspired by mercury glass and the complex silhouettes of baroque chandeliers, the this unique lighting combines these two aesthetics into a contemporary form. To achieve the mirrored effect, Berger uses a technique by which colored glass is oxidized on the crystal’s surface, resulting in a mirrored sterling silver effect, that when lit, illuminates red. The fixture is comprised of twenty-five crystal pendants in varying heights of 6.5” – 8”. Brushed nickel hardware adds another layer of ornamental detail to the piece.

The Susurrus Chandelier is made from a collection of unglazed bone china bells by Item, a British company that produces a selection of contemporary decor and lighting pieces.

Chandelier Lighting 07-Canopy Chandelier
Inspired by the branches of a tree, the hanging sculpture was developed to hang under a light bulb and cast a shadow on the ground, providing the room with both a light and shade source, just like a canopy. The final construction depended on a core branch of 120 cm with four various size attachable branches. They are organized in a series of zones that group the largest in the center, the medium ones on either side of the center, and the smallest on the extremities.At home, in a lobby, at a restaurant, bar, or night club, the CANOPY lamps Branch and Leaf can create a unique spatial light ambience. Acting as both a glass sculpture and a lamp, the CANOPY series adds a lively and practical artistic element to any room.
